Formulation R-3603 Tubing with extra heavy walls for vacuum use. It will withstand a full vacuum at normal room temperature and because of its low vapor pressure, will not affect analysis of liquids or gases transmitted through it. Crystal clear and not wetted by mercury (it has a convex meniscus). Tygon vacuum hose is non-toxic and tasteless. Working temperature range -58°F. to 165°F. Will withstand up to 29.95 inches of mercury vacuum at 140°F. Tubing has a good chemical resistance to strong acids and a good chemical resistance to strong alkalies. Sizes available are 3/16" ID thru 1". Full roll is 50 ft., sold in 5 ft. intervals only.
